Regulatory status

Licenses & Registrations.

Prospr is pre-launch. The product being built is a non-custodial DEX interface, not a licensed exchange. This registry shows every authorisation we are reviewing or planning, and its honest status. Nothing is held today.

The registry

Nothing held. Analysis before any market.

The only public surfaces are the product demo, which is entirely simulated, and the waitlist. Last updated 5 September 2026.

Jurisdiction registryNothing held today
JurisdictionAuthorisationStatusWhere it stands
GlobalOperating modelUnder reviewThe intended launch product is a non-custodial DEX interface. You connect your own wallet. Prospr does not hold your keys or your funds. Whether that model still requires a VASP, DCE, MSB, or similar registration in a given market is the open question, and it is answered market by market. No application has been lodged on the back of this model.
AustraliaDigital currency exchange registrationUnder reviewWhether a non-custodial interface, with any fiat leg handled by a licensed partner, is a digital currency exchange for registration purposes is under legal review. No application has been lodged, and Prospr does not operate a digital currency exchange in Australia today.
AustraliaAustralian financial services licence (AFSL)Under reviewWhether the intended product set, including any leveraged or derivative products and any later automated strategies, requires an AFSL is under legal review. No application has been lodged.
United StatesFederal and state analysisUnder reviewFederal and state analysis runs against a non-custodial interface and a third-party execution venue. No US filings exist today.
EU & UKMiCA and UK regime analysisPlannedPlanned, post-launch. Each regime is assessed before any offer in that market. The working posture is to keep high-regulatory-risk markets closed until the analysis for them is complete.
Rest of worldJurisdiction-by-jurisdiction reviewPlannedEach market is assessed on its own facts. Where a registration is required, the design is to file or stay closed. Incorporation of a group company is not an operating permission.

Under review means legal analysis is in progress and no application exists. Planned means it is on the roadmap and has not started. No application is described as being prepared unless one is actually being lodged.

What these terms mean

A partner’s licence is not our licence.

Incorporation is not permission to operate. Connecting a wallet is not a custodial account.

  1. 01

A non-custodial DEX interface, not a licensed exchange

Prospr is being built so you connect a wallet you already control. Prospr does not take title to your assets and does not hold your private keys. That is not the same thing as being licensed, regulated, or a licensed exchange. Nothing on this page claims any of those.

  2. 02

A partner’s licence is not our licence

Fiat on-ramps and off-ramps, if offered, are intended to run through a licensed partner. That partner’s permission is theirs. Prospr does not inherit it. The same is true of any execution venue the interface routes to.

  3. 03

    Digital currency exchange registration

In Australia, a business that exchanges digital currency for money, or the reverse, must be registered with AUSTRAC, the anti-money-laundering regulator, before operating. Whether a non-custodial interface is that kind of business is the open question. Registration, where required, is a legal prerequisite. It is not an endorsement of any product.

  4. 04

    Australian financial services licence (AFSL)

An AFSL authorises specific financial services in Australia. Leveraged and derivative products, automated strategies, and any later managed product each get their own analysis. The analysis runs before, not after, a market opens.

  5. 05

    Analysis comes before application

Filing the wrong application is worse than filing none. This page shows where that process actually stands. “Under review” means legal analysis is in progress and no application exists. “Planned” means it is on the roadmap and has not started.
