A backtest runs a strategy against historical data — useful, but easy to flatter. A walk-forward backtest is stricter: the strategy is built on one period and then evaluated only on later data it never saw. A forward test runs in real time on live markets without real money. Live means actual money, actual execution.

Those labels matter if numbers are ever published. This public site does not quote return figures. Simulated results are not live trading, and they do not predict future performance.
